The analysis was conducted in five categories: air quality, urban greenery, zero-emission transport, energy transition and urban retention. Fifteen cities received an honourable mention in the competition, with 3 from each category.<\/p>\n<p>The distinguished cities are provided with specialist advisory assistance offered by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, prepared by the Consortium consisting of the Institute of Environmental Protection, Institute for Ecology of Industrial Areas, Forest Research Institute and the National Centre for Nuclear Research.<\/p>\n<p>Cooperation between cities and experts will contribute to the development of road maps for the transition towards climate resilience and neutrality of cities, as well as preparation of lists of key projects for each of the above-mentioned categories.<\/p>\n<p>Under the carried out project, the implementers prepared an offer of expert support for the cities which got an honourable mention in the competition.
