The meeting was attended by a representative of the project consortium: Dr Elaine Jensen, Aberystwyth University, project coordinator; Dr Andreas Kiesel, Eva Lewin and Nirvana Marting from the University of Hohenheim, Dr Marcin Siedlecki from CBI Pro-Akademia, Dr Marta Pogrzeba and Dr Jacek Krzy\u017cak from IETU, and Uwe Kuhn and Carmen Retzela from Kuehn Innocast. During the meeting, consortium members presented the progress of work on the project under specific work packages.<\/p>\n

Plans for the publication of research results were discussed. The meeting also provided an opportunity for a field visit to the research site of the University of Hohenheim and Kuehn Innocast, where the possibility of cultivating Miscanthus in a marginal area of an open-cast lignite mine is being investigated.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
