Dr Marek Gole\u0144, Director of the Department of Waste Management at the Ministry of Climate and Environment, attended the inaugural session.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ietu.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/PCF_2025_Agenda.pdf\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Agenda<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The meeting aimed to share experiences, discuss the future of the circular economy, and build partnerships to support innovation and industry competitiveness. The Polish Circular Forum was established in 2022 by the Circular Economy and Recycling Cluster and the PlasticsEurope Poland Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>In March 2025, the European Commission announced a target to increase the circularity of raw materials to 24% by 2030, as part of the Clean Industrial Deal. This deal is intended to support the development of innovation and the competitiveness of European industry. A key element of this strategy is the Circular Economy Act, due to be introduced in 2026, which highlights the importance of securing the supply of raw materials and reducing dependence on unreliable sources.<\/p>\n<p>In response to these changes, this year's Polish Circular Forum focused on the Polish GOZ 2025 Roadmap, analysing progress made so far and highlighting areas for improvement.\u00a0Key directions related to waste management and the transition to a circular economy were discussed at 20 round tables.<\/p>\n<p>The IETU participated in debates at three round tables on issues relating to ongoing EU projects:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>New Business Models: Table 2.2: Intersectoral Cooperation and Industrial Symbiosis \u2014 RISERS Project, M.Sc.
