On 1\u20132 October 2025, the city of Breda hosted the latest meeting of the UPSURGE project partners with IETU representatives. During the event, participants discussed current project matters, including a detailed review of achievements and challenges within individual work packages.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The meeting also provided an opportunity to explore the progress of demonstration investments<\/strong> taking place in Breda, including the impressive revitalisation of the ZUID LINIE area<\/strong>. Particular interest was drawn to Nature-Based Solutions (NBS)<\/strong> implemented around residential areas, such as community gardens<\/strong> and rain gardens<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A boat trip along the river<\/strong> offered participants the chance to view additional green areas \u2014 including riverside parks \u2014 and enjoy the many picturesque sights of this charming city.<\/p>\n
