IETU has more than 40 years of experience in waste management. Our experts combine technical skills with experience in consulting and planning of waste management at a national, municipal or enterprise level.
IETU offers services in the following areas:
- development of municipal and industrial waste management programmes on a regional and local scale
- optimisation of municipal waste management for public utilities enterprises, municipalities and districts (including material balance, water and sewage management, biogas production, acoustic impacts - for the existing state and/or planned changes);
- monitoring of waste management facilities, including all kinds of landfill site impacts, landfill site modelling and assessment of its variability over time,
- analysis of waste streams for secondary fuels and determination of fuel properties and the contents of the produced fuels,
- waste analyses - from a representative sampling scheme and its implementation to morphological and physicochemical analysis of by-products and waste, conformity tests, safety data sheets, the share of components for the recovery of materials or energy, including possibilities of other uses and applications
- development of concepts for recovery of areas occupied by landfills
