The Institute for Ecology of Industrial Areas, as one of the partners of the INTERREG CE - ReBuilt project, invites you to participate in the online Workshops ‘Circular and Digital Construction’ for industry stakeholders, investors and architects. The workshop will focus on circular and digital construction and a comprehensive introduction to the policies, legislation and business approaches that are driving sustainable change in the construction sector across Central Europe.

Module 1: Basics of Circular Construction

  • Overview of policies and legal frameworks in Central Europe
  • Gaps, benefits, and opportunities at different levels
  • Circular construction principles and current actions
    Speakers: Dr. Alenka Mauko Pranjič & Dr. Dragica Marinič, ZAG

Module 2: Legislation

  • Environmental legislation and key criteria (End-of-Waste, Byproducts)
  • Construction legislation at national and EU levels
    Speaker: Tadej Žurman, POR; TBC, ZAG

Module 3: Circular Business Modelling

  • Lean canvas approaches and circular business models
  • Practical examples: recycled aggregates, digital platforms, and materials
    Speakers: Dr. Alenka Mauko Pranjič, Primož Oprčkal (TBC), Sergej Gutsmann

💡 This basic-level training is tailored for industrial actors and SMEs from diverse fields, with no prior knowledge required.
