Site contamination assessment

IETU, with its many years of experience and consultancy services, offers a wide range of research and expertise in determination of land development scenarios based on site contamination degree and health risk assessment.

The offer includes research and comprehensive assessment of soil, ground and groundwater contamination in accordance with the amended Environmental Protection Law (Journal of Laws  2017, item 519) and the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment on the method of conducting the assessment of land surface contamination (Journal of Laws 2016, item 1395).

IETU also offers assistance to starosts in fulfilling their duty under Art. 101d of the Act of April 27, 2001 - Environmental Protection Law (Journal of Laws 2017, item 519 with further amendments) in the scope of identification and drawing up a list of potential historical land surface contaminants.

The list of potential historical contaminants is developed in accordance with the applicable legislation:

  1. Regulation of the Minister of the Environment of 1 September 2016 on the method of conducting the assessment of land surface contamination (Journal of Laws 2016, item 1395).
