The kick-off meeting of the #CICADA4CE Interreg Central Europe project

The kick-off meeting of the #CICADA4CE Interreg Central Europe project was held on June 13-14, 2024. On the first day, the project consortium met at the Institute of Ecology of Industrial Areas, which is the Lead Partner.

Prof. Marta Pogrzeba, Director of IETU welcomed the guests and introduced IETU. Dr. Anna Starzewska-Sikorska - Project Coordinator - presented general issues of the CICADA4CE project and project management issues. There was time for a presentation by the JS program officer on CE program expectations and general information on project implementation. Then the work package leaders presented the framework of their tasks and the responsibilities of the Partners.

On the second day of the project, when we visited Sosnowiec - one of the Partners of the project - promotion and dissemination issues were discussed.

The fruitful discussions and ideas we had during the meeting were very important to start the project with a lot of enthusiasm and commitment from everyone.
