12-13 Oct. 2023, IETU representatives participated in the #UPSURGE project consortium meeting in Antwerp, Belgium. The two-day meeting was filled with presentations and discussions on, among other things, the progress of work related to technical aspects and IT tools developed under the project.
An important issue was the presentation of stage of work related to NBS interventions for air pollution and climate change adaptation in five demonstration cities. In Belfast, Breda, Budapest, Maribor and Katowice, citizens are already engaging in #PlaceLabs, participating in the design, implementation and monitoring of NBS. During the meeting the range of expertise and services to be offered by UPSURGE EU Regenerative Lighthouse were identified.
