Seeing once is more important than hearing 10 times. The study tour focuses on examples of different solutions for the redevelopment of transition regions. Participants of the Intensive Study tour will visit Silesian Voivodeship (Poland) , Moravian-Silesian Region (Czech Republic) and Horna Nitra Region - (Slovakia). (all these regions are in transition). Participants will be in these regions for 1,5 days during which they will see examples of mitigation measures and climate change adaptation, projects to promote tourism, examples of reclamation and other environmentally positive activities . They will learn about spatial and regional planning issues.
They will visit various sites during their stay, including expert commentary. The group from Ukraine will meet representatives of institutions involved in regional development. Thanks to this intensive study tour, the participants will receive a lot of interesting and useful information about the possibilities of different solutions and will also gain a number of contacts on which they can build in the future and gradually deepen their cooperation individually.
The Intensive Study Tour is addressed to following groups:
- Higher education and research - representatives of urban, regional planning, environmental, development or other similar topic departments in universities
- Regional public authority - representatives of regional councils or person responsible for planning, environment, turismtourism or transition
- NGO - organisationsorganizations - supporting development, education and environmental activities
- Professional public and experts - persons who are professionally involved in the objectives of the project
- Bussiness organisationorganization, SME´s - land owners, construction companies, development agencies, developers, leisure and tourism service provider. organization provide business conectedconnected with transition of region
- Local public authority - representatives of municipalities and inter-municipal organisations responsible for economic environmental and regional development

The Intensive Study Tour will be simultaneously translated (English/Ukrainian). The Tour Guide System will be used.
The organizer provides: accommodation for participants from 26.05.-1.06.2024, meals from the evening of 26.05.2024 to noon on 1.06.2024, tickets to the visited sites, transport and transfer in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia during the study tour from 27.05.-1.06.2024.

- Бізнес-організації, малі та середні підприємства – землевласники, будівельні компанії, агенції розвитку, івент-агенції та туристичні компанії, бізнес, пов’язаний із переходом регіону;
- Органи місцевого самоврядування – представники муніципалітетів і міжмуніципальних організацій, відповідальних за економічний, екологічний та регіональний розвиток;

Організатор забезпечує: проживання учасників з 26.05.-1.06.2024, харчування з вечора 26.05.2024 до обіду 1.06.2024, квитки на відвідувані об’єкти, транспорт та трансфер у Польщі, Чехії та Словаччині під час навчання тур з 27.05.-1.06.2024р.
