ECERA founding members are: Tecnalia (ES), VTT (FI), VITO (BE), Wuppertal (DE), IVL (SE), ENEA (IT), IETU (PL), SINTEF (NO), TNO (NL).
ECERA’s main activity includes:
- promotion and development of R&I in different technological and non-technological areas of circular economy, through the set-up of Working Groups
- consultancy on economic and social policy in the context of circular economy at the European, national and regional levels
- revision of technical and scientific knowledge in the areas of joint activities and promotion of consultations and exchange of experience
- establishing links and cooperation with other organisations involved in the same areas of circular economy, both within and outside the European Union
development of research infrastructure for pilot actions and demonstration of circular economy solutions to entrepreneurs, in that newly established SMEs and spin-offs.
