On 6-9 of September 2017 dr Jacek Krzyżak, from Environmental Remediation Group of Institute for Ecology of Industrial Areas, participated in the 9th International Conference on Environmental Engineering and Management. Circular Economy and Environmental Sustainability.
Conference took place in Bologna and was organized by University of Bologna (Italy) and Technical University of Iasi (Romania) with about 300 participants.
The conference is an important dissemination platform that strives at each edition to bring together specialists to discuss novel research and to develop inter- and multi-disciplinary project ideas in the wide field of environmental sustainability. During the conference dr Jacek Krzyżak had a lecture entitled “Phytoremediation potential of Miscanthus x giganteus and Spartina pectinata cultivated on sites contaminated with heavy metals”. Lecture was prepared on the basis of Phyto2Energy project results.
