The European Commission has announced the composition of the mission of the new Horizon Europe Framework Programme. Poles participate in four out of five missions. Among them is Dr. Marta Pogrzeba, Prof. of IETU, whose research area is environmental remediation.
The experts, whose names were announced by the European Commissioner for Research Carlos Moedas, became board members of the five main research and innovation missions that will make up the Horizon Europe Programme. Each mission board consists of 15 experts, including a chairman. Among the 75 experts selected for the mission boards are four Poles:
- Marta Pogrzeba (Mission Board for Soil Health and Food)
- Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz (Chairwoman of the Mission Board for Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities)
- Monika Stankiewicz (Mission Board for Healthy Oceans, Seas, Coastal and Inland Waters)
- Konrad Rydzyński (Mission Board for Cancer)
