The MISCOMAR Project International Scientific Conference “Multiple benefits of biomass crops on marginal land”, 20-21 March 2019, Poland

The MISCOMAR project will hold its final conference, to presents its developed approach and other results from the project, in the context of the EU’s policies for advanced biofuels and bioenergy.

The International  Scientific Conference “Multiple benefits of biomass crops on marginal land” will be held in Katowice, Poland from 20th till 21th March 2019. Conference is organized by Institute for Ecology of Industrial Areas, Katowice, Poland as part of the MISCOMAR FACCE SURPLUS project.

Who should Attend
Scientists, representatives of local governments and state administration, companies processing agricultural biomass for energy, energy suppliers, farmers and biomass producers, are kindly invited to the conference. The participation in the conference is free of charge.

The aim of the project MISCOMAR was to determine the technical potential of novel miscanthus hybrids to deliver biomass production options on marginal and contaminated land and to determine and quantify the changes in soil health and structure under these crops.

The MISCOMAR project is carried out under the ERA-NET Co-fund FACCE SURPLUS and the Polish part of the project is financed by The National Centre for Research and Development
